About Seedlings
Seedlings is our welcoming space for children aged 12 months to 3 years
We provide a calm, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn through a balance of play, exploration and carefully planned adult-led activities.
Children enjoy a wide range of sensory and messy play experiences that support their curiosity, creativity and early development. Regular outings to local parks, libraries and places around Tunbridge Wells town centre help broaden their experiences and connect them with the world around them.
We encourage growing independence and self-confidence, while recognising that every child develops at their own pace. Through strong relationships with dedicated key persons and a mix of individual and group activities, we support each child’s unique interests, needs and next steps in learning.

At Seedlings, activities and resources are carefully chosen to suit the age and stage of the children in our care. By getting to know each child well, our team can build on their interests and introduce experiences that support their growing skills and understanding.
Children have access to a wide variety of age-appropriate resources that encourage exploration across all seven areas of learning within the EYFS framework, helping them develop through play and everyday experiences.
Our environment is regularly refreshed with new activities and opportunities to keep children engaged and interested. We also provide enough resources for children to play alongside one another, supporting the development of important social skills such as cooperation, turn-taking and consideration for others.
