Good evening parents/carers

I am sure that you will have seen or heard the announcement today that all schools including nurseries and early year’s settings, like Little Pips Pre-School at The Camden Centre, are required to close for an unspecified period from the end of the day on Friday this week, 20th March 2020.

I am sure for many of you this will be no surprise but at the same time may cause personal concerns over your ability to go to work.  If you think you fall into the category of key workers please do speak to me directly for any advice that I may be able to give you.  I am awaiting clarification on this.  Please remember that your children should not be left with elderly relatives who are considered vulnerable as this would defeat the government’s strategy to delay and prevent the spread of the virus.

Little Pips staff team are all very disappointed that we cannot continue to care for your children at this time but we really look forward to seeing you and your children when this unprecedented situation comes to an end.  We will miss each and every one.

You will not receive further invoices after the end of this week until we re-open. We urge you to settle any outstanding amounts that are due to Little Pips as this will enable us to pay our bills and to reopen on a sound footing.  Fees that have already been paid to cover next week can be refunded if you wish or offset against fees for when we return.

Some of you have said that you would wish to continue to pay fees during the period of closure.  I would like to remind you that we are a registered charity and any financial contributions can be made towards the Little Pips Pre-School at the Camden Centre Registered Charity No: 1139360 and can be made in the normal way through the bank account detailed at the bottom of your invoice.

If you have any questions about anything to do with anything above please do not hesitate to contact me.

On behalf of the Management Committee, the staff Team and myself we wish you and your family and friends a safe passage through this strange and difficult time.

Pippa Anderson
