About Saplings
Saplings is tailored for our 3-5 year olds. Here, we cultivate an atmosphere that empowers children to take the lead in their learning journey through play and adult-led activities. Sensory-rich and messy play experiences abound, fostering exploration and discovery.
Our outings to nearby parks, libraries and other Tunbridge Wells town centre locations add variety and excitement to our adventures. Independence and self-expression are nurtured, as we prioritise honoring each child’s unique desires and requirements. Within our cozy, nurturing environment, both individualised attention from dedicated key persons and engaging group activities are seamlessly woven together, ensuring a holistic approach to child development.
Saplings serves as our “Pre-school” room, designed to prepare children for their transition to school. All resources and activities are carefully planned with this goal in mind
Facilities and Activities
As with all age groups in our nursery, Saplings provides a range of resources and activities that support children at their individual stage of development. By getting to know each child and observing their interests, we plan activities that encourage learning and help them build new skills in ways that feel engaging and relevant to them.
We offer a variety of resources for children aged 3–5, helping them explore and learn across the seven areas of the EYFS and the National Curriculum.
Our team regularly introduces new activities to keep children interested and involved. We also provide multiple copies of popular toys and resources, giving children opportunities to learn about sharing, taking turns and playing together.
